15 March 2008. Mark in the field. Hyrum on spring break. Girls napping. Rebecca exhausted.
I told Hyrum to entertain himself while I took a nap, too. "Read, watch tv, do whatever you want, just don't burn the house down." When I woke up, I found him at the dining table creating stuff out of paper, tape, etc. "Thanks for entertaining yourself, how did you do?"
"Bless my heart," he said, "I was so bored."

That is pretty cool. Not as big as those roots at Lewis though. Those wind storms were crazy.
Your kids are so cute.
Oh my heck! That tree is huge, and that's the first time I've seen verticle grass. I can see that our kids had a blast! Thanks for sharing. Love you, Mom/Grammy : )
Oh man Jackson would have LOVED climbing on that tree, that is so cool!!
